FAQ
If yours is not here, send it to us — or ask the chatbot in the corner, which is the same one you would be getting.
Under ten minutes, and two of those steps happen without you. You sign up, we read your website automatically, you paste one line of code into your site, and it is working.
Not to begin with. We read your website when you sign up - home, about, services, pricing, FAQ, contact - and turn what we find into what the chatbot knows. Half an hour spent improving that afterwards makes a big difference, but it works before you do anything.
If your website lets you add a line of code, yes. WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify and hand-built sites all work the same way. There is no plugin to install and nothing to keep updated.
No. The hardest part is finding where your website keeps its footer code, and the guide walks through that for each of the common platforms. If you get stuck, send us your website address and we will tell you exactly where it goes.
It says so, tells the visitor it will check, and passes the enquiry to you. It will not guess a price and it will not tell a customer you do not do something - that decision is yours, not a chatbot's.
It answers from what it has read off your website and what you have added. Where a fact is missing it says it will find out rather than filling the gap. That is why putting real prices in your knowledge base matters so much: it is the difference between an answer and a promise to check.
No, deliberately. A line or two, the way you would type it on a phone. No "Great question!", no paragraph of filler, no "Is there anything else I can help you with today?" at the end of everything.
It answers in your business's name, with your greeting, and it does not pretend to be a human being. Visitors know they are talking to a chatbot - they mind far less than people expect, as long as it actually answers.
Screened out. When a conversation ends we work out whether the visitor wanted something from your business or was selling something to it. Pitches get a polite decline and never reach your inbox. We only do this when we are confident - anything ambiguous reaches you as a normal customer.
You get one email per conversation when it ends, with the whole transcript and the visitor's details. Everyone who left contact details also appears in your lead list, which you can export to a spreadsheet.
You still get the transcript, marked as not confirmed. Someone who typed their number and then got distracted is still a perfectly good lead.
Never. Not a transcript, not a follow-up, nothing. They talked to your business, not to us, and an unexpected email from a company they have never dealt with is how a good first impression gets thrown away.
You, and anyone you ask us to add to your account. We can see them too - we have to, in order to run the service and check the screening is behaving. We do not sell them, share them, or use them to advertise anything to your customers.
$49 a month, with everything included. One plan, no tiers, no set-up fee, and it does not get more expensive as you get busier.
No. It is month to month and you cancel from your own dashboard in one click. No email to us, no retention call.
The next payment stops and the chatbot keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for. Export your lead list before you go if you want your own copy.
Your plan includes 1,000 conversations a month. It is an allowance we watch rather than a shutter that drops: nothing cuts your chatbot off mid-conversation and no surprise charge appears on your card. If you are consistently busier than the plan assumes, we will get in touch and talk about it.
If the price changes it applies to new customers. Anyone already subscribed stays on the price they signed up at.
Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages and never touch our servers. We hold a reference to a card, never a card number.
More detail on any of this is in the guide.
